A global leader in automation and digitalization solutions for R&D and QC labs sought to enhance its ArkSuite ERP system, which manages laboratory processes in chemistry labs. To improve user experience and operational efficiency, they aimed to integrate customizable dashboards into ArkSuite. This project initiated our long-term collaboration with the R&D solutions provider.

The ERP solutions company, based in Switzerland, leads the industry in high-throughput and high-output R&D and quality control workflow solutions.
In 2024, a leading manufacturer of scientific instruments and analytical solutions acquired the client company to bolster its capabilities in automated laboratory solutions, digitalization, and scientific software as part of its Project Accelerate 2.0 strategy.
The Sigli's client continues to operate independently within the acquiring company, expecting quarterly revenue of $10 million and significant growth.
Sigli executed the project from July 2020 to April 2021 with a dedicated team of two full-stack engineers. We divided the project into critical phases:
Sigli analyzed the existing ArkSuite system and explored ways to incorporate customizable dashboard components.
We developed a draft solution to test the dynamic data relationships between ERP entities and dashboard widgets.
Our team actively developed both server-side and client-side applications.
We conducted rigorous testing to ensure the new functionality met the necessary standards and worked effectively.
We addressed user requests and fixed production bugs during user testing.
The client developed ArkSuite, an ERP system with functionalities to manage lab resources, experiment workflows, and results.
They introduced customizable dashboards to expand ArkSuite’s capabilities, allowing lab staff to monitor consumables and experiment status in real-time. The R&D Solutions Provider chose Sigli to execute this critical task.
