Our client runs a unique and highly specialised online marketplace. It is dedicated exclusively to the self-directed buying and selling of dental practices in the USA.

It also offers administrative tools, such as document management workflows, automated value estimations, and a directory of third-party service providers (attorneys, accountants, lenders, etc.).

The company describes itself as "creating a centralized option for dentists, dental brokers, and their service providers.

The Brief: Build a New Online Marketplace

We were tasked with building and deploying an entire online marketplace to connect buyers and sellers of dental practices.

The platform would also offer supplementary tools, including a calculator for estimating sale prices, a directory of service providers, and a group chat feature to connect the teams of buyers and sellers.

The Process: Building

After understanding the founders’ vision for the process, Sigli produced a preliminary design. Once this was agreed on, we handled all aspects of development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment adjustments.

Collecting requirements from leadership: we began by understanding precisely what our client wanted their new platform to look like.

Story creation and design: after understanding requirements in depth, we created and refined early-stage designs.

Implementation and development: with the design greenlit, we built supporting architecture and a working solution.

Testing and quality assurance (QA): before full implementation, we conducted thorough testing and quality assurance.

Deployment and feedback: we managed the full roll-out of the platform and gathered feedback from initial users, making adjustments as necessary.
