Pàu is a Belgian software company that works with a range of well-known international brands. Sigli We were approached to support the modernisation of an internal platform, used for managing bike hires, for one of Pàu’s clients. Sigli updated the frontend and backend of the platform and integrated a banking API to automate several key financial processes. After deployment, Pàu’s client was able to initiate, monitor and manage online requests for bike leases with greater efficiency and fewer errors.

Sigli partnered with Pàu to update a legacy application that was used by store clerks to initiate, monitor, and manage bike leases.
Among other issues, the platform relied on outdated communication technology to handle bank transactions. A modern banking API integration that worked seamlessly with a web-based user interface was needed, in addition to broad frontend and backend updates.
As we would be partnering with Pàu to work together on an application for one of their clients, it was important that we understood the project scope clearly and provided a breakdown of costs.
After giving clear estimates, we moved into the development, testing and implementation phase, with regular meetings throughout. We also provided ongoing post-deployment support.

The project was managed according to Agile and Scrum methodologies. We used a number of channels (email, in-person meetings, project management apps, etc.) to collaborate with Pàu, the client’s technical and management team, and bank representatives for the API integration.

Sigli updated both the backend and frontend of the client platform. This included integrating and configuring the bank API on the server side and creating a new web user interface (UI) for store clerks.
